2. In short

  • This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking or analytics tools.
  • All fonts are served locally from my own server; there is no connection to Google.
  • No third-party content (videos, maps, social media plugins) is embedded.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit, the host automatically stores information your browser transmits (IP address, date and time, requested page, referrer, browser and operating system) in server log files, based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR for the secure and error-free provision of the website. Log files are deleted after TODO: retention period, e.g. 7 days. A data processing agreement is in place with Vercel; transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses (Art. 45/46 GDPR).

4. Contact and project inquiries

If you contact me via the inquiry form or by email, I process your details solely to handle your inquiry, based on Art. 6 (1) (b) and (a) GDPR. Form details are transmitted encrypted to a server function on Vercel and delivered to me by email via the sending service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA), based on a data processing agreement and standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR); they are not stored on the website. If JavaScript is disabled, your email app opens instead. Data is deleted once the inquiry has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Appointment booking

To book an intro call I link to an external booking service. You are only redirected to the provider's site, where its privacy policy applies, when you click the link. TODO: name provider once chosen

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. An informal email to info@maxhirt.de is sufficient.

7. Right to lodge a complaint

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is: Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, Germany.
